Welcome to FSI Demo Day 2025.

We are delighted you are joining us alongside experts, founders, participants, and leaders from around Indonesia to learn and collaborate within the FoodStartup Indonesia program.

This guidebook is designed to help participants, mentors, and guests navigate the entire event seamlessly and with clarity. Inside, you will find the event schedule, rules of conduct, pitching and mentoring session guidelines, and other essential information needed throughout the program.

The main objective is simple: to ensure that everyone understands their roles, flow, and engagement etiquette so that Demo Day runs professionally, efficiently, and delivers maximum impact for the entire FSI ecosystem.

Guidelines

  • When

    Collect Your ID Card

    Collect your ID card by re-registering starting at 8:30 AM in front of the SOLEIL Ballroom on the 5th floor of the Mövenpick Hotel. The FSI 2025 Demoday is a limited-time event. If you'd like to attend, please contact Arin for more information.

    Dresscode

    The dress code is business casual for the Demo Day.

    Photography & Filming Notice
    Please be aware that this is a photographer and filmed event. From the moment you enter the venue. photos and videos maybe recorded.

    Your Safety

    For your own and your colleagues safety, please notice where the emergency exits are located in the different venues.

  • REGISTRATION, BRIEFING & LOADING

    OCTOBER 28, 2025

    • All participants must be present at the Mövenpick Hotel to register and attend the technical meeting on October 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

    • All participants can load their belongings for display and mentoring during the event into the shared storage area provided by the committee.

    • The committee will provide a freezer and a chiller.

    • Each item placed in the storage area must include the following information: the brand name clearly (including the name of the person in charge and a contact number), and that the item must be stored tightly closed, dry, and odor-free.
       

    CONFERENCE & MENTORSHIP

    OCTOBER 29-30, 2025

    • Participants must attend the conference throughout the event in an orderly and active manner.

    • Participants may leave the conference near the mentoring time by following the committee's instructions.

    • Participants may leave the conference to prepare or process products in the kitchen area at the designated time, following the committee's instructions.

    • Participants must wear their ID cards at all times.

    • Participants must comply with the committee's instructions and adhere to the established rules.

    • Each participant must submit their latest pitch deck to the committee no later than October 24, 2025.

    • Each participant must prepare a presentation and product samples to be presented.

    • Mentoring sessions for each brand will last a maximum of 15 minutes, with five minutes dedicated to pitching and product sampling, and the final 10 minutes to receive feedback from the mentors.

    • Each room will be mentored by four to five mentors with varying expertise.

    • Changing pitch decks or submitting additional presentation materials prior to the mentorship session is not permitted.

    • Participants who wish to prepare or restock their product displays in the mentor lounge must have the knowledge and permission of the committee.

     

    MENTOR LOUNGE (PRODUCT SHOWCASE)
    OCTOBER 29-30, 2025

    • Participants must comply with the PIC's instructions and follow the rules provided by the committee.

    • Participants must fill the display table with one full product display and a minimum of 50 bite-sized products per day (eating-size samples) for tasting. Products will be ready daily at 8:00 AM WIB.

    • Participants are only allowed to fill and clean up the display area at the time specified by the committee during the briefing.

    • Participants are required to maintain their product displays to ensure they meet their respective standards, including being responsible for any additional supplies that may be needed for product displays.

    • Participants are not permitted to swap the position or order of brands, use X-Banners or Roll Banners, or use displays that disrupt other participants.

    • Participants bringing electrical equipment must inform the committee.

    • For products not for collection or tasting (display only), participants must display a sticker or information about such products.

    • The Mentor Lounge closes to the public at 5:00 PM WIB. Participants can set up their display areas in the morning (6:00 AM - 8:00 AM WIB) and clean up in the afternoon (5:00 PM - 6:00 PM WIB).

    • Participants are responsible for leaving their products and displays unattended.

    • The committee strives to safeguard and supervise participants' displays during the event. However, all lost or damaged items are the responsibility of the participants.

     

    KITCHEN AREA

    OCTOBER, 29-31 2025

    • Participants must comply with the committee's instructions and adhere to the rules provided by the committee.

    • Participants must inform the committee of the duration of the product preparation process for mentoring and the products for the mentor lounge.

    • Participants are permitted to use equipment provided by the committee.

    • Participants must provide information on equipment requirements, preparation time, product type, freezer requirements, and chiller requirements.

    • Participants must bring their own raw materials for product preparation and equipment not provided by the committee.

    • Participants must inform the committee if they wish to bring any items and must store them in the designated areas.

    • The committee is not responsible for any loss, damage, or misuse of materials stored in the shared storage area.

    • Participants must keep the kitchen area clean after using all areas and equipment.

    • Participants are prohibited from using additional or replacement equipment in the kitchen area without the committee's knowledge. Any damage resulting from improper use will be the responsibility of the participant.

  • FINAL PITCH & AWARDING FSI 2025

    OCTOBER 31, 2025

    • All participants are required to refill and/or repair product samples in the mentor lounge.

    • The final pitch will be conducted by only the 10 selected FSI 2025 Finalists.

    • Pitching will be conducted by drawing lots to ensure fairness.

    • Each finalist will only be allocated 3.5 minutes of time and opportunity to pitch during the Final Pitch session.

    • The judges will conduct a 5-minute Q&A session. Finalists must answer the questions posed.

    • No product samples will be provided to the judges.

    • The announcement of the three best FoodStartup Indonesia 2025 will be held at the Awards ceremony.
